Please adhere to this policy to help us maintain a safe, focused, and productive studio environment. We do not allow guests (friends, spouses, children, or relatives) to accompany you while working in the studio or while participating in a class or lesson. A violation of this policy may result in the termination of your studio access privileges or rental contract.
Guests are welcome to visit or tour the Belger Crane Yard during our business hours:

*First Friday of every month till 8PM;
Saturday 10AM-4PM.
Please contact gallery@belgerarts.org with any questions or to schedule groups of ten or more visitors.
PETS
No pets are permitted at any Belger Arts location. Please contact lpowell@belgerarts.org if you have a Service Animal.
HOUSE-KEEPING EXPECTATIONS
In a communal studio setting, all individuals must do their part to help maintain a clean and safe environment. You are expected to clean up any mess made before leaving, and all workstations (be it at a wheel, work table or wedging table) must be cleaned after each use. Floors must be swept and mopped where you were working if made dirty. Any communal tools used (wareboards, hand tools, extruder, etc.) must be cleaned and returned to their home after each use. By working together to keep our studio clean, we ensure a pleasant and productive environment for everyone.
ALCOHOL/CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES
As part of our commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for our artists, community, staff, and visitors, alcohol is not allowed on the premises unless provided at a sanctioned Belger Crane Yard Studios event. Controlled substances, regardless of legal status, are likewise not permitted at any time at any Belger Arts location. We also do not permit the firing of smoking paraphernalia in our building.
EDUCATION SPECIFIC (Students)
STORAGE
Each four-week class has an assigned shelving unit for your tools, projects, and clay bags to be kept for the duration of your class.
You will receive a “Class Wrap-Up” email with specific instructions for removing your belongings, which will include the date (typically being six days after your last class) and any additional steps required.
If you are signed up for a class the following month, you may leave your things. However, please consolidate and leave a note with your name and the specific class you will be taking (scrap paper is available on the metal table in the kiln room for your convenience). If you don't do so, your items will be discarded or donated, so please make sure to label everything clearly.
